Anker vs EcoFlow (2026): Which Ecosystem?
These are the two brands most people end up choosing between, and the honest answer is that they are closer than the internet suggests. At the size most buyers actually want, the price gap is about thirty dollars, and it favours EcoFlow. What should decide it is output, how far you plan to grow, and balcony solar storage — which is barely available in America from either of them.

Both brands sell a 1,024Wh station as their volume product. That is the fairest place to compare them, because it is the size most households buy first.

The charge-speed claim, read properly
These two numbers are not comparable, and both brands know it. Anker quotes ~49 minutes to a full 100%. EcoFlow quotes ~45 minutes to 80%. The final 20% of any lithium charge is deliberately the slowest part, so EcoFlow’s figure describes an easier task. That does not make EcoFlow slow — it is genuinely quick — but if you see “45 minutes beats 49 minutes” written anywhere, the person writing it did not read the footnote.
The balcony solar gap — read this before you buy
A large share of people searching “Anker vs EcoFlow” are not after a portable box at all. They want a balcony solar system with a battery: panels on a railing, a small storage unit, power fed back into the flat. In Germany that is a mature product category. In the United States it is not.
We checked both manufacturers on 29 July 2026, and re-checked both on 2 September 2026 with the same result — the Solarbank product page returns a 404 on Anker’s US site, and the PowerStream URL redirects to EcoFlow’s US homepage:
- Anker SOLIX Solarbank — does not appear anywhere on Anker’s US SOLIX site, and searching Amazon US for it returns power stations and third-party panels, no Solarbank.
- EcoFlow PowerStream — the word does not appear in the page source of ecoflow.com/us at all. The product URL redirects to the homepage, and it returns nothing on Amazon US.
So if you arrived here from a German-language comparison, or from a YouTube video filmed in Europe: those products are real, they are just not sold to you. We are not going to link you to something you cannot buy.

At $499.98 the C1000 Gen 2 costs 98 cents more than its EcoFlow rival — effectively nothing — but carries a higher rated output and one of the largest verified review bases in the category at 4.7/5 from 1,463 ratings. For a first purchase that is a lot of reassurance for no premium at all.

X-Boost lets the DELTA 3 Classic drive devices rated above its 1,800W output, up to 2,600W. If your reason for buying is one specific appliance — a microwave, a particular pump — that headroom can be the deciding feature.

Both brands go all the way up — Anker with the X1, EcoFlow with DELTA Pro Ultra X. EcoFlow’s middle rungs are more numerous, which makes the climb from one station to a real backup system less of a jump. If you know you will expand, that matters.

Anker’s S2000 is 2,010Wh at $649.99 on its Amazon listing, read 2 September 2026 — down from $699.99 when we read it in August. We did not re-check Anker’s own store today. We compare it directly against the C1000 in a separate piece.

- At 1kWh the Anker is $29.02 cheaper. $499.98 against $529.00 on 2 September 2026; the two were 98 cents apart on 25 August. Decide on output and surge behaviour, and check both listings on the day you buy.
- Anker gives you more rated watts; EcoFlow gives you more surge and X-Boost. If you are running normal household loads, Anker. If you have one demanding appliance in mind, EcoFlow.
- Balcony storage is where both fall short in America — in different ways. Anker’s Solarbank is not sold in the US. EcoFlow’s STREAM is, but only in Utah on its own product page. - Ignore the charge-time headline. One brand is quoting 100%, the other 80%. They are both fast.

- Neither brand is clearly better overall; they win on different things. At the popular 1,024Wh size the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 was $499.98 and the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic was $529.00 when we read them on 2 September 2026 — $29.02 apart, the Anker cheaper. They were 98 cents apart on 25 August. The gap moves; check the live listing before ordering. Anker leads on rated output (2,000W with a 3,000W peak, versus 1,800W with a 3,600W surge) and on review volume. EcoFlow leads on how far the lineup scales above 2kWh and on X-Boost, which runs high-draw appliances beyond the rated output. Pick Anker for straightforward value at the entry sizes, EcoFlow if you expect to grow into whole-home backup.
- Can I buy an Anker Solarbank or EcoFlow PowerStream in the United States?
- No. Neither was sold in the US when we checked on 29 July 2026, and both checks gave the same answer again on 2 September 2026: the Solarbank product page returns a 404 on Anker's US site, and the PowerStream URL redirects to EcoFlow's US homepage. Anker SOLIX Solarbank does not appear anywhere on ankersolix.com’s US site and returns no results on Amazon US. EcoFlow PowerStream does not appear on ecoflow.com’s US site at all — the product URL redirects to the homepage. Both are European balcony-storage products, sold mainly in Germany and neighbouring markets. American buyers looking for balcony solar with storage currently have to assemble it from separate parts rather than buy an integrated system.
- Which brand charges faster?
- They publish the figure differently, so be careful comparing them. Anker states the SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 reaches a full 100% in about 49 minutes. EcoFlow states the DELTA 3 Classic reaches 80% in about 45 minutes. Those are not the same measurement, and the last 20% is always the slowest part of a charge. In practice both are near the top of the class and the difference will not change your day.
